Oh, hi there.
After much begging I recently got a new goldfish. His name is Tunnel. He is an extremely delightful fellow, not at all lacking in the looks department. He's probably the cutest fish I've ever owned. That's saying something considering the amount of fish I've had...Tunnel has probably lasted the longest too.
Let me tell you a story about my other fish.
One time, my grandmothers friend or relative or something gave me a nice fish tank. My grandmother decided she was going to buy me fish too. I thought it was awesome. That was until they all mysteriously died. *creepy music*
After the sad, sudden demise of my fishes my dear mother bought me more. Guess what happened? THEY DIED! Shocked? Yeah, me either.
Anyway, we couldn't figure out why they were dying. We even went to far as to bring back a dead goldfish to Walmart. Yes, we brought a dead fish to customer service. *giggles*
After a (not-so) long fight with dead and dying fish, we figured out it was the tank. Said tank continually sucked my fish into it's deadly filter. It was sad. We didn't get anymore fish.
That brings us to now. Years and years later. I seriously begged Mom for years to let me get a goldfish. Finally, on Friday, she brought me to PetSmart and we got the aforementioned (I love that word.) lovely fish by the peculiar name of Tunnel. I am a very happy person. I love Tunnel lots. *grins*
I'd post a picture of my dear Tunnel, but alas, I am far too lazy to find the camera, turn it on, wait for the fish to stop moving enough to get a good picture, upload the picture to my computer and then post it here. You'll just have to imagine him.
This kind of looks like Tunnel, only it's not. Tunnel is bigger, golder, and his bowl isn't that clean =P
(Is it just me or is there a lack of songs about fish? *shrug* I'd use the goldfish cracker jingle but that could be misconstrued...I don't eat real goldfish.)
